Zultanite can only be found in one mine, and its genuine rarity is undeniable. Zultanite is mined in Turkey's remote Anatolian Mountains at a height of over 4000ft.
The gem's rarity is not just dictated by its natural scarcity. Only 50% of all Zultanite mined is suitable for faceting and up to 98% of the raw crystals are lost when they are shaped/cut and polished.
The unique beauty of Zultanite lies in its contrasting colours under different lighting. Colour changing gems show different colours when viewed under different light sources, such as sunlight and indoor light. Zultanite an exhibit sparks of canary yellow, cognac pink, ginger, kiwi green, raspberry pink, rich champagne and sage green.
Other colour changing gemstones generally just display 2 colour changes, Zultanite displays many.
The larger the gemstone, the more likely you are to see the different colour changes, and we have therefore selected a range of jewellery with larger carat weights so the customer can have this colour changing experience!
Zultanite is one of the few gemstones that are NEVER enhanced.
Ethically mined with environmentally safe techniques, Zultanite has a positive impact on the lives of its miners as well as the surrounding community.
