Sophie Kostrowski

Sophie Kostrowski is our crazy, northern lass who was born to be on TV!! She's our resident rock chick and one of our longest standing assistant presenters having joined us in 2005. She just can't do without her regular fix of dazzling diamonds and a good old giggle!

After graduating from Salford University in television production, she knew she'd found her calling, and promptly found work at the BBC (on BBC Blast, a top teenagers' music show) and Channel M, where she was nominated for an RTS award for a film festival special on 'Real North'). She's also been on ads on MTV!

Sophie loves travel, and having started presenting in radio at 14, she fulfilled her dream with a stint on Total Rock online radio, before turning her hand to the very worthy cause supported by UNICEF in East Africa, helping spread the word about health via kids tv there.

Enormously proud of her Yorkshire roots, she always watches out for buyers from Huddersfield - she may even give you a wave!
